So with the arrival of the Eververse Trading Company just a week away, most if not all the Destiny community is very skeptical on its future. Some of us think that it will most likely stay as a cosmetic based store where as many of us (including me) believe that this will end up evolving into a pay to win. What I mean by that is that we will eventually have the ability to buy the best gear in order to increase our overall attack and defence. We could also see things like Stat boosts and XP Boosts. My opinion of this is very much the same as most of the community, it's a bad idea! Many great games have ended up failing or not living up to the game it was supposed to be just based on transactions that started out exactly like the Eververse and I would hate to see such a great game like Destiny go down that same path!
What are everyone else's opinions on this? Not that I haven't seen many already!

2 回复由Kovathos编辑: 10/6/2015 5:03:18 PMI can see this easily spiralling out of control. If bungie manages to keep it strictly cosmetic with no benefit in any way, shape or form, well... Fine I guess. that probably won't stay like that forever. I'll never buy anything from there but if someone else really really wants that cosmetic to help express their individuality ingame, fine, whatever. I can see it now though... three of coins 5 pack for $1.99 25 pack for $7.99!

I hate the slippery slope argument. We have no reason to suspect that bungie will take this any farther and considering how badly pay to win has been received recently I believe bungie won't try to push the boundaries past cosmetics.

12 回复People are seriously paranoid or I haven't read the whole story. Where did it say they were going to add things beyond cosmetic items? I -blam!-ing hate speculation.

8 回复Well I honestly think they don't want to kill to very nature of the game, which is the grind. So, that may not happen soon. But they also stated this will make future DLC free. Which I love. So as long as it remains cosmetic, we good. If they start making us pay for xp boost, then what you say just may be coming down the pipeline
