Joining groups with friendly people in them, as well as playing with clan-mates, is within their reach. Moreover, the vast majority of clans in Destiny are unisexual, if people want to play with men/women/aliens they can always join those. Of course, I agree with your point that excluding people may well not be fair to some of the nicer people in our community, but people deserve to be allowed to play the game the way they want, with the people they want. Honestly, gender should never matter in games. Get a good team, gear up, and play the damn objective. But unfortunately, there's always going to be the element of ignorance in our community, be it about race, gender, sexual orientation, whether you prefer Star Wars or Star Trek, etc.
