Quick question, do you understand how color blindness works? Because that's not it. Also, I have Revenant, the majority of the armor turns black. If anything it's 80% black, or do you not understand that 50% isn't the majority?

Well seeing as how the primary color in Revenant is black the majority of the armor will always be black. Just like how with Bittersteel the majority will always be white. Because that's how they made the color schemes.

If you also pay close attention to it you'll see that it's a Dead Orbit or New Monarchy chest piece (likely New Monarchy as it has the three lines on it like NM usually has), which is why it's mostly white, not because of the shader. Try again.

How is that an excuse? It is VERY obviously NM gear and whenever they show off new DLC they always show the guardians wearing the new gear, so it's the new NM chest piece. Secondly, of all the armor we see in that scene, that is the only other one that has that much white is the DO armor the hunter is wearing, which also has lots of white on it. There fore, using common sense, it is easy to realize that Revenant and the Old Guard shader are the same thing with very, VERY minor differences.

Do you own revenant? Revenant a isn't even close to being as dark as the Old Guard shader on most pieces of armor. If you are going to compare it to something then compare it to the Superblack shader at destiny tracker shader previewer. Its the closest shader that matches to the Old Guard shader even tho it is not in the game.
