Nah, I think they just skinned year 2 weapons a little differently. It looked like TLW had a darker skin with its familiar gold trims too.
Kinda glad they did to be honest. You get bored of looking at the same weapon, especially if you use it often.

Oh yeah, I see what you're saying, they've also added perks to improve old weapon perks, which you can toggle between, sorta like the DB legendary weapon perks. Deej asked about it: you know how it has a perk that currently makes it fires slower (sorta making it the antithesis of autorifles)? Well, they've tried to balance it to make it more like an autorifle. So if you like that perk you can still use it on the year 2 Suros, but if you don't, you can switch to "spinning up".
