Yeah but looking at the comments on these forums, none of them deserve having a gun like the Gally. It has gone to their heads. This game would be better off without it.

I thought about that as well, and you're probably right. But we have it now, so how to deal with it without upsetting the whole community. Make the endgame content have more mechanics like a relic or something. It requires a different skillset than just nuking everything with the Gjally.

They tried to do that with Skolas and look what happened. Either way there will be a new set of players that join with TTK, and they won't know about Gally at all. I hope most of the idiots promoting elitism as a form of retaliation leave. I'm pretty sure Bungie doesn't want such a toxic playerbase in their game anyways. Why do you think they tend to reply on reddit and not here?

The game got hard and everybody needed Gjally. But even you have to admit that PoE was a big big big fail on Bungie's part even besides Skolas. They didn't think it through, because you know if you put Solar Burn on, everyone will be using Gjally (if they own one). Not to mention the so-called random modifiers, please Hive with Lightswitch.... Most of those 'new' elitists aren't even bad guys, they're just angry that they invested so much time (the grind is real, damn), yet they get screwed over again (Suros gone, Vex gone, introducing Radiant materials etc.). Off topic: finally a sane person with a different opinion with whom you can genuinely have a discussion about the game with. Props for you, my friend.
