I apologize for the language. To clear things up, though, that wasn't me trying to support you. I think you're all perfectly capable of supporting yourselves (and doing so quite well). My (admittedly hot-headed) reaction was for me. I'm sick of seeing sexist, misogynistic, transmisogynistic, homophobic, and other hateful speech that propagates vitriolic support of heteronormative constructs. It bothers me most of all in a gaming forum, where it's teaching children that othering is part of normal identity (gender and sexuality), and it's reinforcing the behavior in teenagers, making it doubtful that they'll ever think about the issues for themselves, but will likely just fall into group-think mode. Anyway, I'm usually much more eloquent and less reactionary. I apologize for the outburst and for giving the impression that I felt you needed saving.
