Everyone says to nerf Thorn, but I find the gun situational. People know what they are up against immediately so they just back off. I actually get a lot more kills with hawkmoon because people stay and fight, and I usually win face to face fights with thorn. Easy to tell when they have one...
Even a slight nerf to thorn would have a huge impact.

Yes, but not the damage nerf, a range, damage 'drop off' and the poison ticks down to about 4 would still leave you with mighty exotic hand cannon, but more face to face confrontations where people are less likely to back off. (: thanks for the input. Good luck guardian :)
