Defender's Ward of Dawn shouldn't be able to be destroyed by super charges in PvP...
The Defender subclass is the main class I use in-game. But in the crucible, I don't see the point of summoning an instant shield if the shield doesn't work at all. One shot from a Golden gun, slam from a striker or a void blast and it's all over. The supercharge is just SO underpowered. I reckon it shouldn't be able to be destroyed unless the person who summons it gets killed or it despawns. I'd even go as far as saying Bungie should release another Exotic armor piece allowing anyone on the Defender's team to shoot through the shield, because the Weapons of light is useless if you have to step outside the shield to use it. What are your thoughts?

It takes two shots with golden gun to pop the bubble, void bomb won't kill the player inside unless he's got vortex and might kill him if he's using shatter, fist of havoc doesn't destroy the bubble, at least not immediately (many times have I jumped out of my bubble when a Titan came crashing only to have my bubble completely contain the blast).

First of all, shooting while inside the shield? GTFO, the Titan is my main and personally I think the shield is well balanced, it makes shotgun whores think twice, buffs and protects your team, (the weapons of light works outside the bubble btw) and don't get me started on Armor of light mixed with saint 14...how is blinding an enemy, effectively blocking all incoming fire and nades, and having the ability to take massive damage not super?

6 回复If there was an exotic that made it so you could shoot out of a bubble all you would see is six man team of defender Titans with bubbles all over the map. I can shoot you but you can't shoot me. That is beyond retarded.

Rough crowd. Every damn time I pop a bubble, it's like advertising to the enemy team that I'm ripe for an ass-whopping. Supers, supers everywhere! This last Iron Banana (yes, that's on purpose) messed up my already mediocre K/D. Silly me for playing the objectives and not crouch-walking with a sniper in the usual hiding spots. You know who you are. You know what you are. Butt Monkeys! [spoiler]So salty! I should just change my name to Morton.[/spoiler]

Oh hush the bubble does it's job and protects against bullets. Besides you're the only super that guarantees at least two orbs for your teammates so you're helping out in that way. Also have the second best melee and the only grenade that explodes twice and one that suppresses abilities so defender titans have plenty of options in crucible.

7 回复Instead, Nova Bomb no longer kills people inside the bubble and the bubble takes 3 Golden shots to be destroyed. Seems fair to me.

Giving people damage resistance with WoD should come as standard, not as a perk. If you could shoot through the inside, and if it was "indestructible" it should actually be bloody indestructible until its timer runs out. It should be able to withstand a Nova Bomb, and maybe FoH, but it should not go down as easily as it does.

8 回复Throw shield up, warlock supers, takes down shield and kills instantly. Titans in general; in PVP are out classed almost always anyway so a paper-mache bubble seems like it was meant to be. Warlocks are tankier than titans. simple as that.

2 回复Basically the shield should be an invincible wall that you can shoot through with no chance of the opposing team counteracting it. You want it to be god mode?

1 回复Ok then hunters shouldn't be killed out of blade dancer or golden gun, warlock shouldn't be killed out of sun singer. Now take a good look and look at your own post. No one would play this game if ward of dawn was invincible and could be shot out of just with the use of an exotic. U don't like the bubble use striker dumbass cuz defender is more of a PvE subclass.

WoD is amazing in PvE. That is the area it is made to be good at, and it does it's job better than any other class. It wasn't really meant to be an OP PvP thing. That being said, using it correctly can be very rewarding in PvP. I won a 6v1 encounter just using a shotgun and WoD.

1 回复Defender titan is my go to as well, but I can't agree with anything here. The bubble is far from useless; it's just counter-intuitive. It doesn't really function as a shield, but instead as a super target (to waste supers), choke point defense, and support via weapons or armor of light. There are no situations in PvP (at least off the top of my head) where players are completely unable to retaliate against incoming attacks, as you're suggesting should be an option. Given the other stellar bonuses from WoD, such an advantage is completely uncalled for.

2 回复So should all supers be completely indestructible? Nope. Radiant sunsinger shouldn't be indestructible. Same for gunslinger or while using nova bomb, foh. It's supposed to take a tiny bit of work.
