Hey dumb-blam!-, what does minimum wage have to do with it?
Oh wait, wish you had it higher so you could pay for a brain surgeon to fix your stupid ass

Wait,, what? "what does minimum wage have to do with it?" So your telling me, if our minimum wage was $10, and yours was $100 dollars per hour, that you would still complain if DLC was $10 here and $20 there? Sure it's double the price, but it's also 1/5 the time at work....
-
... ... ... You are a special kind of stupid.... It's not entirely minimum wage, it's a mix between minimum wage and money conversion. Why? because zimbabwe 10 trillion is not even remotely close to 10 trillion US dollars. But I guess you still have to finish primary school before you can do more advanced math. In fact, I already did the math for you. You just have to comprehend it. US minimum wage $7.25 US dollars AUS minimum wage is $16.87 AUS dollars (or $12.93 US dollars) It takes a US citizen 5.5 hours of work to buy TTK It takes an AUS citizen 4.15 hours of work to buy TTK Notice how even though the game "costs" more, you can still afford it faster?

Hey dumb-blam!-, since you're trying to be a smartass while looking like a dumbass who doesn't work in finance. I'll spell it out for you dipshit 1. Your entire first reply is in regards to minimum wage. I responded with something that spells it out and shows minimum wage doesn't have anything to do with it. 2. Your shit reasoning is because we earn more we should pay more. Oh wait you don't work in the aus govt so you wouldn't know theyre looking at making it illegal to do this bullshit in the first place for everything. 3. Your entire post is irrelevant and just contradicted what your first one is and mine What kind of dumbass are you?

由Zeezke, Harvester of Kells编辑: 7/1/2015 10:40:32 AMTL;DR: 1 talked about your use of an outdated currency, 2a talks about why a straight conversion is not practical. 2b talks about why minimum is a factor (hint: inflation), 3 Clarifying that I was elaborating a post. 4 Just a personal remark. 1. Saying it has nothing to do with it shows your lack of understanding of the financial system. It does have a role. Also using an outdated currency system that was disregarded in 2012 shows lack of research in this argument. 2. "because we earn more we should pay more" Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds? Why? One word, "inflation". Let's take a few look at reasons why. 2a. Let's take a look back at the old zimbabwe currency. Let's say that, based on your logic "we earn more we should pay more". Are you saying in Zimbabwe they should only pay 40 dollars of their currency? Anything greater they would be "pay more". Alright, but then let's just do an exchange rate, that would fix everything won't it? Not at all. Again, why not? Well you see, in zimbabwe the average worker only earns $253 US dollars a month. Even the higher up government officials make $508 a month. I make that in 2 weeks. I make nearly a $1,000 a month and I'm fairly close to the minimum wage here. So you are saying that even because I make more than them considerably, I should pay the same? Go to Zimbabwe and tell them to fork out 1/6th of there pay for a DLC. Zimbabwe Average a month: $253 =1/6th their paycheck US Working 40 hours a week on minimum wage: $1,160 = 1/19th of our paycheck Aus working 40 hours per week on minimum wage (for their $40 asking price since we are strictly converting it to US currency): $2,068 = 1/51th of your paycheck Aus working 40 hours per week on minimum wage (for their $53.96* asking price since we are applying minimum wage into account): $2,068 = 1/38th of your paycheck. *All currency was converted to US dollars. $53.96 US dollars = $70 AUS dollars. Essentially what you are saying is that someone in Zimbabwe should work for 25 hours (assuming he works 40 hours a week for 4 weeks) to pay for TTK while someone in AUS only has to work 3 hours. 3 days of work, 1/2 a day of work. Yeah, seems totally fair to me. 2b: Inflation. What is inflation? Inflation is defined as a sustained increase in the general level of prices for goods and services. It is measured as an annual percentage increase. As inflation rises, every dollar you own buys a smaller percentage of a good or service. Note that's a google definition, but it looks pretty spot on. What you seem to be confusing is that inflation goes up evenly across the board. It doesn't. In Kansas (one of our states), the minimum wage matches the national wage of $7.25. In Arizona however the minimum wage is $8.05/ hour. Does the DLC cost more in Arizona, not really, but there are reasons why. That's not the point here though, where video games don't go up here based on local minimum wage other products like housing, movie tickets, food, etc do go up. Now let's get back on track, because I need to explain why video games aren't effected. When it comes to a lot of national products, like games, movies, etc, they base it on the US minimum wage, so when they go overseas into a completely new market they take into account the inflation over there. Why would they look at US minimum wage when talking about AUS? There is a direct correlation between increasing of the standard of living and inflation. 2c:From what I've heard about the AUS government is they are trying to make practically everything illegal. -I'm looking at you GTA 5 and Saints Row 4.- 3. My post contradicted it? That's funny, because that post elaborated what I said. The first post was a basic example of how minimum wage effected prices, and the second post used real world figures.
What kind of dumbass are you?
I'm the kind that does research and provides facts and numbers to back up my arguments. Show me any fact or even basic logic that supports your side.

Sorry, I just skipped down your post in 8 seconds because it's a load of waffle and copy paste from an unrelsted article from the looks. If your ego is so big to go on when you've been proven wrong, then by all means do it to someone who will make notice, take onboard feedback or actually cares who works in finance?
-
I actually typed all of this... Thanks for saying it's all copy an paste though... I appreciate that, I really do. Maybe if you actually read it you would see where I call out your posts in detail. Ignorance is not an excuse in an argument. My ego is pretty big yes. But let me ask you this, where is your proof? You can't prove me wrong without proof. Yes, you tell me I'm wrong, but you don't prove how so. I could say 1+1=3. You tell me I'm wrong. If you end it there, then that's not proving me I'm wrong. If you tell me, If I have 1 apple, and I get another apple, I now have 2 apples. That is proof. Sure I may say something witty like If 1 guy hooks up with 1 girl, there might end up being 3 people after. So technically I could be correct. But both of us would know that's a smartass answer with very constrive requirements. Now, if you would please leave a notice for me to take (Besides saying I'm a dumbass and wrong), leave constructive feedback, or tell me what area of finance you work in, by all means please actually type it. I'm not a mind reader, and anyone can say they work in finance.
-
Stupidity is not an excuse to feign ignorance. Simple, you do not understand economics indepth, yet you go on about something already done and dusted. If you feel the need to go on by all means please provide proof of diploma, resume detailing your experience. But a few simple logistics done in student placement would help you actually understand it
-
Well if you could provide ANYTHING (And I mean god damn near anything) to argue against me, then I will treat you like a valid argument. Right now I give two shits for you calling out my qualifications. Why? Because I gave you the math. I showed my work. If you can tell me why it's wrong, if you can tell me where I was wrong, by all means correct my formula. But you have consistently relied on simply telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. I mean -blam!-, have you seen articles on kids inventing things that are revolutionary? I guess they have diplomas huh? They don't, ah that sucks, they must be wrong. Ignorance is not understanding something. You do realize how much research I did in this argument right? As I said in my argument, according to you, you want the folks in Zimbabwe to pay 1/6th of their paycheck to play a game, while you only have to pay 1/51th of your paycheck for TTK. Seems fair right? I'm still waiting for any valid for of rebuttal.

In the 10yrs of being on these forums alone, you're one of the biggest dumbasses I've ever seen. Congratulations on getting yourself muted You keeping saying the same dumb shit that is irrelevant, post everything under the sun to try justify it but do it only half way. Then proceed to post nonsense in paragraphs to go on longer Never actually had someone make me mute them for going on so long for a pointless conversation. Fact is not fiction. Nor is half assed replies. Cya
