The ratings are there as a suggestion to parents. Thank God mine were level headed. So long as I understood something was fictitious, and didn't repeat any bad language, I could play or watch what I wanted (so long as there wasn't any filthy sex in it). Do I really wanna be "that guy?" Why not? If I wanted to traumatize a child, I'd have them read The Old Testament. Some of that material is beyond messed up. Thank goodness for modern thinking. Try to be a moral person, do the best you can, and don't attempt to force your views on others. If another parent feels it's ok, that's their decision.
