Can't good players defend any zone and not rely on particular ones? I mean is it really the best tactic to have both teams trying for the exact same zones leaving the other completely open? Now I'm no pvp buff, obviously! But I have been playing a little more. And I do see their are strong zones in different maps. But also seems like as long as we are controlling any two zones there are various methods making them easier to keep. Shouldn't we focus on those methods instead?
Such as;
On map X if you control A and B do this or that. For B and C try that and this?
Again, pvp amateur here! Just tossing out my ignorant thoughts :)
Think I'm just not quite good enough to take over a zone being dominated so I'll switch and go cap the lesser maned zones. So I should just keep feeding kills trying to take the two zones everyone is trying to take? So one zone on every map shod never be capped? Just seems like flawed thinking. But again I really am sub par in crucible. Got the stats to prove it :P
Maybe Id be more open to taking his advice if he wasn't such a dipshit, acting like some high and mighty genius, talking to everyone else like they are -blam!-ing retarded for not knowing something, considering he is addressing people who don't only play deathmatch 4 different ways all day every day. It's in an unhelpful format which only makes me want to do the opposite just to piss him off :)
And there is rarely only one answer to anything. Closing ones mind off to only one solution isn't usually the best tactic. Especially in a changing environment where people's individual actions changes things drastically. My 2¢
