Either you must have been sitting back the whole time afraid to die or you really need to hire that guardian that seemed like they were trying to impressing you.
If I was him, I would be pissed.

The nightfall was fun but the weekly heroic sucked, but I love going berserk and killing everything. I usually end up with around 250 kills on that strike I ended up getting 40 coins and a machine gun from the rewards of the nightfall and weekly.. Brought me up to 740 coins total :)
