I've played Oblivion and Skyrim and I loved Skyrim the most. I have a feeling I would have loved Morrowind had I played it before. My brother says that I may not enjoy it if I played it now. You guys think that's the case? Should I play it?

Why did you love Oblivion and Skyrim so much? Was it because of the atmosphere, the tons of lore, the aesthetics, RPG, or the combat? Morrowind will be fun if you are interested in the lore and magical atmosphere. If you like the combat from Oblivion and Skyrim, you will hate every bit of Morrowind. RPG element is restrictive but works better than Oblivion's.

I'm the same as you. Played Oblivion to Death, LOVE Skyrim and did the same. ... Bought Morrowind. Really don't like it. No fast travel, no speaking (it's all through text), no waypoints, no real direction, no regenerating magika/mana, and the second I left the starting town I went into a cave next to it and got killed by guys I couldn't even damage. It sucked. It's largely because I'm spoiled by modern games, but I do know I didn't enjoy it as much as I probably would have in the day.

The combat isn't great and the animations are quirky, but the story, the cities, and the world itself are all amazing. And there isn't any fast travel, which makes the map seem much bigger than it really is. Also, the Bloodmoon expansion is easily my favorite Elder Scrolls add-on ever.
