If it considers tracking, i think (but have recently started doubting it) once you track a specific enemy, tracking keeps applied to that same specific enemy (which couteracts the aim-assist idea), so that should remain unchanged, if it's correct what i'm saying.
But next to that, due to the Grenades and Horseshoes perk (Proximity based explosion), which is the first unlocked perk for the truth (and several other rocket launchers), aim-assist should definitely be removed, since that perk can act like shooting a wall up close, increasing the chances of that happening. (next to that, i absolutely love that perk, even over regular tracking)
