Just happened to me yesterday with a special weapon legendary engram. Very frustrating. 2 ascendant materials for a legendary engram!!! Terrible game design. Give me the legendary gear and I can very easily dismantle it on my own if i don't like it. At least a legendary item might have different or more useful perks or be something different. 2 ascendant mats!?! Epic fail.

I know what you mean, I get raid gear and exotics and dismantle them into exotic shards and radiant material. I have every raid piece and exotic, what do I need this stuff for :p [spoiler]#Satire[/spoiler]

Soooo if you don't need them, then wouldn't that mean you would just end up dismantling them anyways?
