I actually stumbled on a pre LFG session once before Crota while trying to get a vault run completed. It was a series of players in the tower who sent an invite out rather than a volley, and actually placed a description in the message. I joined out of curiosity. Immediately I was greeted by not one but 5 squeekers, who immediately apologized for being "chipmunks" and asked if I would come with them regardless. I really didn't care, so long as we managed things. Now this was new Atheon days, and a few of these guys were 28's and 29's. I was anticipating a mess but was also bored and thought why not. It turned out to be the cleanest run I had been in to date. I do wish more would post with experiences like we've had, and bravo.
