I haven't watched Tokyo goul yet but I have watched all of dead man wonderland it was really but only 12 episodes long

Issue is that they veered off the manga, and did their own thing. This happens often, but continuing the anime would mean coming up with their own ideas. That could be problematic in more ways than one.

That makes a lot of sense. From the get-go it had the problem of being in a less popular genre, so alienating the manga fans probably didn't help it any.
