I have to agree, in fact, I'm a die hard Scout Rifle user, and have been using them on my main character since launch, even in pvp at the time auto rifles ruled the Primary slot. I was excited when Xur was selling an Exotic Scout Rifle, and rushed straight to him like Sonic the Hedgehog on cocaine, but once I looked at the stats and what it does, I was like "Wtf is this?" So I didn't bought it from him. I did however, received the MIDA on the Omnigul Nightfall, and while the weapon is fun and can be useful in certain situations, albeit most being situational- It just doesn't deserve to be an Exotic. Personally, I'm glad I hold off from buying it from Xur, not because I "earned" it (As some would call, but its basically RNG), but I would of been disappointed since the asking price just wasn't worth it. While a fun gun, I think VoC and other Legendary Scout Rifles would outgun the MIDA. It's a specialist weapon, but nothing much else.
