the pirate bay
So I'm guessing some of the internet people around here have heard of the pirate bay... I have but my grasp on the topic is a little week. So can anyone tell me about it
[spoiler]I know it's a pirated movie website[/spoiler]
Recently I heard it was blocked, but rather ineffectively. Can I google it and it will pull up or will I have to go deep into the darkweb?

1 回覆The Pirate Bay was more than just movies, it was torrents of all kinds of things. I got a lot of expensive computer programs and games from there that I wouldn't have otherwise afforded. It was recently raided by Swedish Police. The founders are in jail (last I heard) and the site was taken down. That being said, there are a number of proxy sites that have kept most of the original torrents up.

5 回覆It is/was the biggest website dedicated to all things pirated. Movies, music, games, software. Pirate Bay had it all. Until Interpol finally had enough of their shit. But, alas, we live in the age of the Internet. There's already several copycap websites that have sprouted up to try and take PB's place.
