When it all comes down to it. 60 bucks for a game is a nice dinner date. DLC for 20 or 35 for both is a night out with friends. Consider it as one person getting another bacon strip on their burger, or getting a free beer at the bar. Your happy for a little bit but too worried. Friend that went out with you is still enjoying the same things with ya and is still OK. But again we are getting up in arms over a small monetary investment and want the world. Relax, the Psion fight is annoyingly tedious, (use to play PS3 switched to xb1), and missing a couple exotics isn't going to hurt ya.
