Well in my defense this wasn't in the tutorial, where every OTHER game with a cover system would tell you "There's a group of enemies over there, take cover behind that -[i]Insert waist-high object here[/i]-!" Destiny has a lot of things it doesn't even try to explain, and this is the one thing that is actually part of the gameplay. I'm sure there are many other players who don't know about this system, and could benefit from it. I want to get the word out to help them succeed, as obviously Bungie can't be bothered to inform players of this useful feature.
