Honestly, I say none.
Publishers in video games are like record labels in the music industry. They hold the money card. In the end they make the final call.
Many people are yelling at bungie, but I have my crosshairs on Activision.
Keep in mind, even though Microsoft published on the platforms, bungie was essentially independent in developing Halo. The results speak for themselves.
If this is a 500 million dollar AAA game, bungie should have just kick started/crowd funded and published independently without Activision's chokehold to cash in on dlc.

i agree, i bet if they did a kickstarter they would have made enough money easily. however i heard that microsoft watered down halo, destiny has always been their original concept. (even though what we see now is a gutted vessel)

Even if Halo is watered down, which it may, or may not be, Halo still showcases far more depth in numerous aspects than Destiny. I can't say this enough. What we bought was a record setting 500 million dollar project in the AAA market. If this is what 500 million publishes in the nexgen console market, we are in some serious trouble going forward.

i agree, destiny totally lacks on the "wow this is incredible" factor. they have the gameplay and setting down. but without a story they've wasted so much potential. The Halo story will always be something i remember fondly. I was really hopeful for destiny. despite the story i am enjoying the game though.
