If you can ask Bnetters questions in person or get them to do things on film over the site then by all means!

I'm at work and didn't have time to really read the OP, I was mainly responding to the thread title, but I suppose you could Skype people or something if you wanted to record them.

Why watch interviews on TV when you could technically try and e-mail the people themselves, you know? The Flood has a lot of site veterans. You've been here for four years yourself. I'm more inclined to believe that most veterans would be happy that their own community is doing something fun and productive for itself. The whole 'hate on people that put themselves out there' deal is typical, but I'm willing to bet most people would be willing to encourage such community projects. So if you'd like to diss the idea, then please feel free. But I would encourage you to support people when they try to do new things, as it may lead to even better things for everybody in the future. After all, we do our podcasts because we find it fun and like talking about Bnet specifically (and yes, even the Flood). Other people enjoying it is just a bonus, though one we'd like to encourage with participation. :)

I've only been here for a little of a year, but I am all for community engagement, as a lot of people have come to know. I have now had time to read the thread and I like what you are trying to do. The title just came across as if you were saying we aren't able to talk to people whenever we want on the forum designed to to just that, talk. To answer your first reply I've never listened in on any of your podcasts, but I'd imagine however you set those up could also be used to include other members of the community on a regular basis.
