Not having team colors is one of the best things about this game. Now you can show off your armor that you grinded for for 4 hours and spent 2k glimmer on a shader to color it how you wanted it to be colored... This isn't halo... Please don't ask for team colors

We already have team colors... I'm just asking that the red and blue colors that show up when capturing actually match the team color. It's kind of common sense reasoning. Strange more people wouldn't have jumped on board with this. You see when I'm on the alpha/blue team I start to associate blue on a control point being good because that is our color and red is bravo. Then I get placed on Bravo and start thinking red should be good bc I'm on the red coded Bravo team. If the colors aren't going to be consistent the bars at bottom right should just say alpha and bravo with no color association. Either this or the alpha/bravo colors should be changed to different colors like white and black because they currently are misleading - it looks like they are supposed to match up with the control point capturing. But thank you to the above poster for mentioning that little white triangle :) that helps!

  • I have played alpha and beta and never once got confused with the colors. Blue means you control an objective and red means the other team controls it. Regardless of you being alpha or bravo team

...yes, I've stated this in the OP. I know how it works, I'm saying it's associating meanings that are not intended. This isn't really a matter of yes or no, I'm basically saying it needs to change. I teach for a living so, for example, if I was writing a lesson plan and associated one concept with one color, and another concept with a different color, I can't just start using the same colors to help you learn a completely different concept. You have already associated the two colors with the first concept I taught you. This would have the most impact on a child in the early stages of learning; you can't confuse them with two different meanings for the same thing. In this case if red = enemy and blue = team, red CANNOT = bravo and blue CANNOT = alpha bc if you are bravo the two associated terms conflict -- red = team, however red also = enemy. It is a conceptual error on the part of the developers. It is a very subtle concept that could be difficult to understand if you've gotten used to this error. Hopefully this helps a bit.
