What halo 4 did… okay at.
So, about a week ago, I made a topic of what halo 4 did badly. Now, ever the optimist, This is stuff you think halo 4 did okay at. Kindly report anybody that posts anything along the lines of:

They're starting to define Master Chief. The Forerunner trilogy in it's entirety. Great reads that fleshed out the universe wonderfully. Ah, and the graphics are super good for running on a console that is almost 10 years old now. The music was good. But, I'm a little saddened that the main theme wasn't included, and I feel like 117 is the most memorable piece. Other pieces like Green and Blue get honorable mention. I would just like to see something a bit more [i]iconic[/i] I guess. I'm nitpicking.

1 回覆I think halo 4 is a very good game The multiplayer is great (even though some people hate it because it was different) The music is good The graphics are amazing It has a great story And I specially loved the ship level on the death star

1 回覆The games campaign start off where bungie left off which is awesome, I loved how the story got deeper cause Cortana was I say the game ended with a very sad ending I cried a little bit like when in cod 4 when people though Captain Price died. But in halo 4 I loved the Quote at the end "Every Journey Begins With One Step". (I'm a sucker for quotes)

Like many here -the plot of the game was exceptional( could care less about the diadact part, but watching cortana die and the chief fighting, and ultimately being unable to save her). Also the environmental design was spectacular not since CE had the environment have a sense of wonder and mystery about it.

Good quality graphics, (even if the art style seemed to lack) Sound of the human/promethean guns. Campaign pacing was pretty good. Nerfed the Banshee. Nerfed standard weapons damaging vehicles, but not to the point of uselessness. Biggest Halo weapon sandbox. Forge Duplicate Feature.

4 回覆Halo 4 is my favorite Halo game. They really showed what the Xbox 360 could do. The prologue made my brother and his friend think they where real people for the first minute or two. The epilogue has the best CGI I have ever seen. The campaign was amazing. MP was improved from Reach. Especially assassinations. All in all one of my favorite 360 games. The only gripe I have is the SAW in MM, too over powered.

1 回覆Sandbox: highly redundant, but it was solid and balanced for the most part. Soundtrack: personally I don't think it compares to the CE-Reach OSTs, but it was at least an attempt at a different feel. Campaign: the actual story was okay, but what I liked is how 343 tried to bring the books into the games. Armor customization: even though most of the armor is hideous, the depth of customization was on par with Reach's. Cinematics and cutscenses: beautiful. Enough said. Everything else ranged from okay to downright awful, AKA customs and multiplayer.

1 回覆I'm super not fond of Halo 4. That said, here are some things the game did WONDERFULLY at. The lighting system is SUPER GOOD. Many PC games in it's time would be hard pressed to do what Corrinne Yu accomplished. The netcode is amicable. Some of the maps are genuinely rad (looking at you, Exile). The Diadact was a neat villain, who gave off a Darth Vader vibe. The bit where you're fighting Covenant in space was cool.

[spoiler]God, I hate this community.[/spoiler] My main issues with 343i is that I disagree with a lot of the artistic directions they're taking, plus all the unneccesary shit they added to multiplayer (and removed. Plasma Rifle, anybody?). But a big part of why I love [i]Halo[/i] is the story, and aside from all the Halsey hate and Palmer fanfiction, 343i has surpassed Bungie in the lore department, at leaat in my eyes. Oh, and they got armor DLC to work, so +1.
