So basically, you can pick an area from the menu that lets you "free roam" it. While on the ground, you can pick up Patrol missions that help you earn reputation and currency from the Factions at the Tower. And of course, public events are there too.

Well the problem is the Alpha caps us at level 8 since Old Russia is a low level area. Those bigger enemies were put there simply to prevent us from going any further. Our weapons barely even dent them. We're not meant to kill them... for now.
