A runaway trolley is heading down the tracks toward five workers who will be killed if the trolley continues on this course. You're walking on a bridge that hangs over the tracks, in between the trolley and the five workers. Next to you on the bridge is a stranger who happens to be very large.
If you do nothing the trolley will kill the five workers. The only way to save the lives of these workers is to push the stranger off and onto the tracks below, where their large body will stop the trolley, causing their death.
Push the stranger off or let the workers die?

2 回覆>do nothing >nothing happens to you or >push man >charged with murder I think I'm content to let the fat man decide if he wants to sacrifice himself or not.

1 回覆THE NEEDS OF THE MANY OUTWEIGH THE NEEDS OF THE FEW. I WOULD PROBABLY USE MY OWN BODY THOUGH INSTEAD OF KILLING THE MAN.

3 回覆Timeless question with an easy answer. You walk away. Pushing the man implicates you in the situation. Ignoring it does not.

1 回覆由DzusHawke編輯: 6/5/2014 5:47:52 PMYell for them to get out of the way. If not then I look away before impact. I'm not going to kill man just to save other people. Unless he was a super villain or something

1 回覆I'd want to watch how the hell a trolley is able to kill five people at once.
Getting shouted at for not realising it is the bus.
