I'm just sick of Ash. He's pretty much the typical, confident, overeager anime character. I might start watching the show if it was a little more mature. Not like [i]Retarded Animal Babies[/i]-type violence, language, etc., but, like... it's hard to describe. But it could have some creepy, [i]Eflin Lied[/i]-level shit if PETA would cool its tits and Nintendo wanted to try appealing to older gamers*. [spoiler]*Although the average [i]Pokémon[/i] fan is probably in their late teens or early- to mid-20's, as compared to all the British kiddies that squeal their rage at me in GTA5.[/spoiler]

It's a fact of life. TV shows or movies based on videogames, or vice versa, are always horrible. Think of all the [i]Sonic the Hedgehog[/i] shit that used to be on TV every Saturday morning. And then think of every Goddamn kid's movie like [i]Shrek[/i] or [i]Shark Tale[/i] that, inevitably, get some half-assed shit on disc that everybody knows is only for promotion, but we buy it anyway because we don't know what else to get our annoying cousin for his birthday.
