Well think about it I know hyblebos (did I butcher his name) gave summer good reasons against it but your faction can represent you on a more personal level than "I'm a sniper, I'll be a hunter." You're faction can give you something to be proud of. Not just an excuse to fight, but a flag to stand behind. If it's just "guess I'm osiris this round" than it loses its meaning.
