Strong post as usual, Raptor. Always amazed me how long it took to get a legitimately tough American MBT onto the battlefield in WW2. I once heard the joke in some documentary about Sherman crews: you could hit one with a hammer, and before you could hit it a second time the whole crew would bail out. Downright sad. Also your Pershing rocket pod pic link didn't work for me... is it the one I attached here?
