7 回覆There is so much that happens that we never know about. Our government does things that are not righteous, excusable, or diplomatically viable. But so does every other institution on earth. If you're an American, rejoice that your government does what is necessary. It's all dirty pool. All people are the same. We all hate outsiders and love our own kind. It's what unites humanity in the most retarded way.

2 回覆Manning is a hero and a patriot in my book. We live in an age where the civil liberties our forefathers fought so hard for are being eroded by the day. Freedom of Press, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly are mere ghostly images of their original intent. 1 回覆On one hand, leaking stuff about a government doing bad stuff is a good idea. On the other, leaking the government doing bad stuff during a war in which the civilian population could with either the US or it's enemies, would probably spark large amounts of retaliation against the US, and possibly even cause some of those civilians to side with whom the US is against. Causing even more death, and is detrimental to the goals of the US military in that area. US gov. isn't pissed about the shady shit that's been leaked, US gov. is pissed about the mess it's going to cause. Just sayin.

7 回覆he did not leak any real major information, and endangered his fellow troops with a temper tantrum because he was struggling with major depression, bipolar disorder, and gender identity disorder. he is not a hero.

3 回覆I'm not knowledgeable on the subject so I don't know if he deserves the charges or not, but what is the point of serving more years in prison than you have left in your life?

6 回覆Too bad he's still been tortured and will be imprisoned for an absurd length of time for doing nothing else than exposing our criminal government, which will not be held accountable for their actions. Bradley's oath to defend the Constitution supersedes any oath he made the the government.
