Is it wrong to be proud of being straight?
I see Gay pride images and posters everywhere, so that got me to wondering if it would be all right to show pride for being straight. If homosexuality is considered to be genetic rather than choice, than a straight person and be proud of not having that genetic defect. If it is considered a choice, a straight person can be proud of not straying towards that disgusting lifestyle.
So, what is wrong with being proud of being straight?

1 回覆Is it wrong? No. Will you look like a dick? Yes. Go ahead, have a Straight Pride parade, and see how much positive publicity you get from it, since heterosexuality isn't something that people are persecuted for or denied legal rights by the government.

2 回覆Your post reeks of idiocy and bigotry. And, yes, it is wrong to be proud of your orientation, skin color, nationality, or anything else that you don't personally achieve.

Frankly, I don't think gay pride is actually about just being prideful about being gay, it's about the achievement of accepting themselves in the face of extreme hate and prejudice.
