There is no other true answer. I've done a play through every year or two (and I'm 23) and it still feels fresh. I love me some Megaman, but in every Megaman I can find flaws that bother me. I can't do so with SMB3 (at least the Super Mario All-Stars version, adding a save function basically fixed the only issue the original game had).
