Laws reguarding CP are rather extreme imo. IIRC you can get arrested for having a naked pic of your own child.

You are speaking out of emotion and not logic. Someone could possibly have a wank to a bathtime pic of their children. Would it be considered CP then, or would it still be considered an innocent bathtime pic? The problem is, it's impossible to tell whether someone has done that or not. Such a thing would give the bathtime pics the same purpose as the CP but the bathtime pics would be legal.

由Chakas編輯: 3/29/2013 9:03:44 PMSo bathtime pics should be illegal? Hundreds of normal parents would then become criminals if such a thing were to happen just. All that because of the actions of a few. Wouldn't it be better to make it legal rather than illegal and make more people criminals?

In the case of bathtime pics, is there really a victim? Some kids playing in the bath when their parent think it is cute and take a pic? Is that really something to be arrested for? No every adult is informed about what is and isn't CP. You started a new subject rather than answering my question.

Since the child can't give consent they are a victim. As for being arrested as a result there are tons of other minor things people can be arrested for, but in most cases people wouldn't consider CP to be a minor thing. Then regarding people's knowledge and lack of knowledge of laws that is irrelevant. If you are an adult you are expected to know the laws and even if you don't you are expected to be punished for your actions if they go against the law. As for your previous questions I don't see why they shouldn't be illegal and as for it being better to make less criminals by ignoring a law I find to be an absurd idea. As an adult you should be able to tell the difference between what is right and wrong and act accordingly. If that means sending 100 people to jail in order to protect a single victim then that is what has to happen.
