This is somewhat off-topic, but is ESO supposed to be just like every other TES game, or will it be converted into a birds-eye game like WoW?

Turkey is wrong. Yes It CAN be in third person, but it can also be in first. And it is not static combat. The combat system is very similar to that of the regular Elder Scrolls games. As in click to swing sword, hold click for heavy attack, right click shield, etc...

由HurtfulTurkey編輯: 1/23/2013 5:32:02 AMIf you've watched the gameplay video with the interviews, which I'm assuming you have because you know about the click attacks, you'd have seen that they are still using WoW/TOR-esque combat where you use an attack and it performs that attack after the previous attack has cooled down. It also uses the Guild-Wars style of simplifying combat by having only a few attack hotkeys. It's a hybrid. You'll still generally be standing in one place stacking up attacks and letting them cool down, but the intended goal is to eliminate cluttered hotbars and streamline the user interface. As for first-person view, yes it's possible, but like most MMO's (which also include the ability to zoom the camera in to a first-person perspective), it is not optimized for gameplay and is pretty restrictive.
