Ah, so they're playing the whole "amazing cinematic trailer that uniformed idiots will buy the game because of, even though they don't know anything about the gameplay" angle. Reminds me of SWTOR.
This game is going to flop. At least SWTOR tried something new.
At least SWTOR tried something new.
Elder Scrolls Online is doing a lot of new things with this game. I'm most excited about the combat system. It's not standard MMO clicking icons to perform slashes. It's more skyrim style hold mouse button to perform heavy attack and click to perform normal attack.

One game? countless MMO's after WoW failed to meet expectations, countless. Hopefully these guys do a better job than the others and don't release unfinished games. With Elder Scrolls name on it people will expect great things, so the pressure is there for the team. Let's see what they came up with.

Let's just ignore the fact that every sub based non-Asian MMO that comes out ends up dying under the feet of Warcraft, and the fact that the only reason people are excited for the Elder Scrolls MMO is because of the past games in it's franchise (which have vastly different gameplay, hmm, similar to KOTOR and SWTOR, eh?). Ignoring that, yeah, sure.

It's all the same though. The quality of the games is terrible, shooters all all the same brown and bloom bullshit, RPGs are generally all the same, and MMOs all follow the WoW guide save a coupe like EVE. It's pretty stale and boring.
