*spoiler alert* lore question about the last mission
Why in god's name did Bael and Lume fire the Nightfall weapon when they should have known the cooling stasis crystals were destroyed?
Does the technologically savy Imperium not have damage reports?
Or do we chalk it up to a sudden drop in IQ?
Please don't tell me it was simply due to hubris or they simply overeager to fire their one and only super weapon when it was clearly compromised.
Or is Lume suppose to be a witless drone / puppet who cannot pause long enough to report to Bael that the weapon was damaged?
Yes, I did watch that final cut scene. Is there some lore card that would explain this?

That they thinks it’s cool to call Oryx “Oryx the Nightmare Daddy”, just shows it’s fanboy/girls/thems being allowed to write fanfiction.
