Problem is it's not a Vex story, its a Maya story
The Vex are still completely absent

I like Maya as a villain, but she is not as big of a villain as the Narrative team wants her to be. she's more of a plot device to do things like give the Vex independence, or a reason to explain why the red legion is back.
