Bungies fixation on worlds first races has caused them to build mechanics and puzzles to slow down the best raiders in the world, all for the 15 min of slightly increased twitch views
Now a raid that takes Datto,Cross,Gladd 24 hours to beat, isn't going to be approachable by the majority of Destiny players, it's like taking the average driver and forcing them to run a formula 1 race with no training or experience
You know what made D1 Raids better, Margin for error, new players had room to fail without hindering the experience of professionals, requiring cold blooded precision and coordination from all 6 players, just creates a toxic environment, and why nobody does these streamer approved raids, Bungie is developing for them alone, compare DSC contest completion numbers, to Salvations Edge and Desert
For what they spend on these raids, they could easily make 6 and 3 player activities and strikes/ PvP maps, but that doesn't put content creators on a pedestal and inflate viewership numbers
The dessert perpetual completion rate had nothing to do with mechanical difficulty. The raid was bugged in multiple ways and had 4 dps check bosses. The normal raid is not very difficult at all.
