This is the only way to save the game. Power Level has mostly been useless in Destiny and now the only thing we can even do in the game is the Power Level grind. If you agree respond with #RemoveThePortal

I genuinely feel like there would be less frustration if the portal did not exist. I also wish they would calm down with the modifiers I hate that you have to pre configure all your gameplay like doing friggin paperwork to "play a game". It all just feels like work now and no fun. Can't even properly buildcraft anymore.

1 回覆#RemoveThePortal it was only cool at first because it was new, now imagine the new exotic mission, why play in grandmaster to get the axe? Or would it be on its own system like kepler and DP

1 回覆由AOSpare編輯: 9/11/2025 6:12:50 PMFor me it's not so much the portal as the restrictions it has brought. Having to run all events at gm and eventually ultimate. How is that fun? Where is the chill options. I can tone it down but there is no reward. If I chill and play master, I can feel like a god but rewards are more limiting. Its pushed away the average games and left with elites only.

The portal itself isn’t the issue. It’s how they made it function. Nothing is casual anymore unless you just want crap rewards that don’t raise your light at all ever. Matchmaking is almost non existent now and the ones that are matchmade for the day are littered with modifiers that just make it horribly unfun. That’s if you can even complete it.

This week's update made everything worse. The plaquelands are horrible now without siva. Too many activities were added. The pinnacle Playlist is too much. The timers are horrible. Expecting Avalon to be run in 15 minutes in GM difficulty?!? The power drops should be a +4 drop between 400 and 500.

It isn’t like there weren’t enough people telling them it was a bad idea, when we first got wind of it. I was one of the biggest critics of the Portal and the direction of the game. But oh no, the usual suspects all piled on with their usual statements ;- “If you don’t like it stop playing” “If you don’t like it don’t buy it” “Why don’t you just delete all your characters and uninstall?” The game has become an utter dumpster fire. The amount of reading and -blam!--ing around with negative and positive mods is just astoundingly annoying and bad for a relaxing experience. Compared to doing a Nighfall or 3 strikes, Crucible or Gambit matches to get a pinnacle. I was glad of the limited pinnacles in the pre EoF game, not that there couldn’t have been more of them.
(For instance every encounter in the rotational Dungeons and Raids could have had a pinnacle drop one per character per week instead of just the boss. )
It meant I could play what I wanted and farm for what I wanted, without bothering about the grind for that week on that character. You’ve made the game a -blam!--ing chore. And as for the limited changes in the TWAB this week, it’s too little, too -blam!--ing late. Most of these changes won’t be live until after the current event is gone. You are literally the worst company in gaming and that says a lot when EA and Ubisoft exist.

1 回覆The Portal itself isn't a problem, as it is nice to have a place to focus activities without having to search the Directory, especially for new players. It's the current design philosophy of the game and its focus on the Portal for glacial progression which is the problem.

2 回覆I believe the portal is their solution for a falling player count. It causes most players to focus on a specific set of activities instead of being scattered across world activities. In short, I dont think the portal is going anywhere. Even if it does, it will get replaced by a system that incentivizes players to rally around specific activities for tiered loot or "power"
