Borderlands 3 story was typical millenial writing, mediocre at best and pure cringe in places, no worse than some of Bungies. The gameplay was good though probably the best in the franchise so far. Supposedly 4 is more grounded with the humour toned down, they also added alot of qol changes fans asked for like a boss replay button for farming. All the improvements give it movement more like D2 but with a far superior gun craft system. Bungie should be worried.
