Pinnacle Ops in the Portal needs a matchmaking mission offered
I can't be the only player who doesn't want to open up an external LFG every time I want to run a Pinnacle Ops for the better drops offered in the game right now. There should be at least one offered a day that people can flock to like the Solo and Fireteam Ops with their playlists. Just a daily featured, all I'm asking. With Fireteam Finder in game, I was able to run Dungeons and Exotic missions perfectly well without issue with random people, and I don't see what the issue would be to include it in the Pinnacle Ops tab as well.

2 回覆Everything should have matchmaking, so what if your paired with someone with less or no skill? Just pick up the slack and carry them through and make it memorable for them

2 回覆由Night_Fury147編輯： 7/23/2025 2:08:41 PMI’m not defending Bungie’s decision to not have matchmaking, but considering how much you can customize the modifiers for the activities, you would be stuck waiting forever to be paired with other players that are matchmaking with the exact same modifiers as yourself. The standard version of each activity should definitely have matchmaking though.

I agree. When the franchise launched, it focused on co-op. Because it's always been co-op, many players started loving the game. But at a certain point, they created these more difficult Lost Sectors to hopefully snag some exotics, and now they're increasingly looking to create solo content. Many players go home after school or work and just want to sit on a chair or couch and kill creatures with friends, just for fun. Most players are casual now, I wasn't a casual player, but I became one.

2 回覆I just tried to give it another shot. Couldn't find matchmaking activities. Found 1 played it got bored left. There is literally 1 matching making activity. They removed all the stuff we had matchmaking before and left 1. Just 1. How did they charge us for taking so much of this game away?!?

1 回覆played a few hours today did all the portal stuff and only went up 7 on power level at this rate I'll quit playing. there is no point trying to get to 400 in 3 weeks only at 207 now. this blows bungie you need to have a major over haul on the level system . it's to heavy duty on the grind ,adjust the drop rates higher and give 2x as many that would help but nit much. l don't know what you'll come up with but this is nonsense. please adjust.

They should absolutely do like they've done in fire teams & have a few featured nodes each day with bonus loot & matchmaking. The pinnacle ops are all old content & 90% will be efficient at getting it done. This is why I'm dreading hitting 300 because I'll have to move into master & start using lfg & it's already very very toxic on expert, whereas matchmade expert strikes have been a pleasure, zero issues. & you have to work through the ranks anyway so by the time the people who dont know what to do have played it over & over on brave, then expert, they'll be fine at master

Ya LFG is very off putting I just want to play there is no reason to fight over a post just to play and waste time waiting to join or make posts...from what I've seen most of the posts are blank or have minimal details many players just want to play... the customization is awesome but we still need a match made option even if it's just a random mix of modifiers set each week like the old old nightfalls it might be brutal sometimes but it's better than being shackled to LFG ...

It's so weird that they indirectly feature some of the fireteam activities by having MM ON - while still being able to customize with MM OFF, if you so choose - but not having it ON for everything in the default setting. Pretty sure that the population wouldnt spread too thin by having MM ON for 12 activities in fireteam ops instead of 3. On the contrary, by not giving us the option to use MM they'll probably have more people quit the game. I for one am pretty fed up with either having to solo or use LFG for basic crap activities.
