I hate the bats so much. I threw a gunpowder gamble and was about to hop away when a whole mob simultaneously screamed at me. It blew me up. I don’t think I’ve ever died in a more embarrassing way.

Naw, that is not embarrassing. It is however a point in bad design. Bungie devs want players to suffer and feel like the game is too much. They suck so the game sucks in some ways. No big deal just get up and move on.
