First off, each Exotic Class Glaive needs to do more damage and have an intrinsic champ mod effect after aiming with full glaive energy. Solar=Barrier. Arc=Overload Void=Unstoppable. Catalysts for them would be nice too. Graverobber, Subsistence, and some other stupid perk option. Why not.
Secondly the damage on these in endgame content is really bad and enemy damage will ignore the glaive shield too often, making it a coin toss whether you shield up and survive. Stopping health regen while guarding needs to go.
And lastly, damage perk and Exotic perk compatibility is a -blam!- mess. Almost as bad as special Grenade launcher hidden stat and magazine/frame BS. Creating a weapon type just to stifle its synergy and potential out of paranoia and fear of players having fun and actually killing strong enemies with Glaives just BLOWS MY MIND. Let the damn things breathe for once.
A buff to the exotic glaives, sure.
Glaive block is 97.5% damage resistance. Enemies ignoring your block? What?
Health regen can occur when blocking so long as you are not taking damage. You can stack dr on top of the shield block to make yourself immune to damage. Vexcaliber does this on its own and is getting better with the buff to void os coming. The block on Gaines is very good. It doesn’t need a buff.
Don’t know what your last point is about.

Some damage will go straight through the shield. I think its explosive damage. Anything with an aoe. From what i can tell at least. Even if the hit lands in front of you youll still take the damage. Its frustrating. If i could change anything about glaives that would be it. I need to be able to rely on the shield to make them worth it.

Splash damage from behind you can go through, but that basically never happens since the glacier shield expands a good bit wider than your hitbox. I have done hundreds of GrandMaster nightfall carries using a glaive and you can consistently tank whatever you want so long as you don’t position yourself poorly.
Ive actually done thousands of grandmaster duo carries using two glaives and i can consistently get killed by explosive damage despite my literally and objectively perfect positioning.
You actually haven’t. You can test glaive shields. They objectively block all damage in front of them, granting you the 97.5% damage resistance 180 degrees in front of you. Only damage coming from behind the shield will deal full damage to you.

They objectively block zero explosive damage sometimes. Also If the shield was 180 degrees it would block behind you too. Big cringe not knowing your degrees of algebra brotato.

Upload a video of them not blocking explosive damage. I can upload one where they do. Very easy to test. The shield is 180 degrees, not 360. It’s also not algebra, it’s geometry. I’m assuming this is a sarcastic mistake where you pretend to be a bumbling idiot since you have no real argument. Though I could totally see you not pretending.

Youre just like those absurd people back in the day who denied ghost bullets. So ridiculously confident in the infallibility of a computer program. You got the nonsense argument you deserved. All you've done is say im wrong. Youre only evidence is your personal and unverified experience. Which is directly countered by my personal and unverified experience. See now why im not taking you seriously? Even your suggestion of uploading a video where the glaive blocks explosive damage wouldn't actually do anything to prove me wrong. Maybe if you uploaded a video of a glaive blocking explosive damage a few thousand times. Then youd have something. Not much, but it would be better than the nothing you have right now. Absolutely nobody on these forums will ever be worth that kind of effort to me. If that means some of you think you've achieved some grand victory and makes you all feel better, thats great. Im happy for you. But i dont care that much and i highly suggest you shouldnt either.

Back to those math lessons now kiddo.

由Wiz Waz the unfathomable編輯: 10/1/2024 5:22:06 PMUm actually I invented math. You're welcome. But youre right, there is a chance i don't that part of math. Its come a long way since me and socrates invented it together in the fifteen hundreds like thousands of years ago.
