So since Contest Mode is over and defeating Crota won’t guarantee Necrochasm, the only way to get it now is by completing the quest normally. Has there been any more info on what the quest steps are? Is the quest at least guaranteed to be available upon completing Crota? I remember getting something called Essence of the Oversoul during my Day 1 attempts, but nothing else. Will I still have this in my inventory, albeit hidden, even though Contest Mode is over?
