Hmm, that's the wrong place to save stuff. It's been deleting stuff for 6 years or so. Don't use it as storage. Destiny tells you when the postmaster is full too so pay attention. I keep empty spots on my guardians so my post master doesn't fill up as fast. I use destiny item manager to manage I'm postmaster.

The thing with the exotic engrams is whenever you pick them up from the postmaster it auto decrypts so people are saving them for when they release new exotics to the world pool to easily get them. Dunno if this works but I'm personally saving them to find out.
