I personally wouldn't like it to be one movie, because I don't believe I could tell a story good enough that is explained clearly enough for a new audience as well as made you, those who are veterans to Destiny, feel like the story respected the game and the lore as well as end on a good note without feeling like there was more to be shown. I'd love the story to be at least 2-3 films. That way the story has the ability to be flushed out with proper pacing as well give the viewers more info and more atmosphere!

I mean, we all wanted a Halo movie but it never happened. If you can get traction for this, I would like to see it along the same vein as the MCU where each significant character has their own back story. In this case, hunters, warlocks, and titans would have their own movie filled with lore and whatnot. Then, the pinnacle of your franchise would have the tower be destroyed by the red war, and the only way to save it would be to enter the vault of glass, kill atheon to open a time rift, and save the tower

to be honest the story would have some ground building moments for guardians like why they were created/what they are, for story sake for those that are new and just seeing the movie just because they hear about it. However I'd love to bring the gritty, dark side of the lore that happens off screen or only in lore, not all hive or any one particular race but instead a multicultural enemy fest but with one supreme evil ( The Triangle things lol) and it would just be rated borderline, if not, R because the lore depicts evil beyond imagination and gory scenes that not even the toughest of stomachs could handle. So I'd love to dive into that side while also showing the beautiful worlds and atmosphere that is in the universe as well. So I'm fixing to start pushing towards the top or to whoever has the authority to talk about this stuff to try and make this happen. I'd love to see destiny on the big screen properly and for it to explore deeper parts of its lore. thanks for the replies !

I like where your head’s at. I too would like to see Destiny in the way it was meant to be seen. Gritty, dark, graphic. I’m the game world, if Destiny had its same core elements and characters but had the undertones of a Doom or Resident Evil game, I’d play the hell out of it. For crying out loud, the game is mostly about fighting off alien races after the near extinction of humanity. It’s too childish in it’s current state
