Lag in the Crucible.
Is it me or anyone else experience lag here?
I wish I had footage but I saw bullets literally go through walls and hit me.
(I press the save video button but it only recorded 9 seconds of this match.)
I melee people and there's a huge delay. I shoot people and bullets registering really late.
Now I'm not upset because we don't have dedicated servers. What has me upset is that this is all happening in quick play where skill based matching making isn't a thing here so it should be connection based.
I just want to play a couple of casual games but the lag is insane.

29 回覆Literally 1 shot over 10 times tonight playing trials... and by the strangest things. Some guy knee slides around a corner and 1 hit melee? Standard. I die before I get a 2nd trigger pull in 1v1s? Standard. Gernade death from full health? Standard. Peek a corner for 1/10th of a second without firing and go back, dead. Standard. 10 feet behind a wall? Hold up, Mida didn't get the memo. ***WARNING!!!*** The Destiny 2 skill based matchmaking lag has arrived at Destiny 1 skill based matchmaking levels! Abort!!! In all honesty it's gotten to the point where it's so laggy I don't even care anymore. I'm just going to play other games. Without dedicated servers, region or ping limit filters Destiny 2 isn't worth my time.

Yes mate i was playing iron banner this morning, i just gave up in the end players stretching across the screen, players taking a whole mag without thier health being touched, it seems to happen more with fireteams only takes one lagging. And yes what anybody says bullets through walls granades killing from someone over the other side of the map, crazy same old same old .....love the game but struggling with D2

2 回覆Most games have people from all over the world in them. Using a Net Duma router you can see who is in your actual game. You would be amazed the amount of times 3 or more different continents are represented. Cloud server for physics engine seems to be nothing but lip service as far as connection quality goes.

One thing i have noticed with D2 is the huge amount of newbies in the game, which is good but D1 just seemed to have an unwritten rule of help eachother and have a laugh D2 is every man for himself especially on strikes lol

1 回覆Probably because bungie straight up lied about their matchmaking in quickplay like they have lied about their matchmaking in the past. What else is new, quickplay is sweatier for me than competitive by far

1 回覆Yeah in the first week pvp wasn't so bad but now I don't know what the he'll happened. The teams are ridiculously unbalanced or the I have horrible connection to the host. I can say destiny is the only game I've ever had server issues with and problems with being kicked from games.....sad

It seems better than D1 (for me) but yeah.. still get the occasional red bar teleporting demi-Gods. You know what would further reduce this? Dedicated servers. Only one of the most requested items on the community wish list for the last three years. :(

2 回覆They removed the red bars so people would complain less. Connections are aweful as ever. Only getting worse as people are leaving this game

I have several videos of me popping headshot after headshot to someone charging straight for me and then I get 1 hit melee killed by them while looking at their barely damaged shield bar. The usual, move to cover after a couple shots then dying behind a wall. I try not to play more than the required games to get my Milestones. I don't even try to strafe or duck anymore. Trying not to get carpal tunnel when the outcome is going to be the same anyway.
