Well now that depends... I mean in Japan I'm pretty much every convenience store there's a large section with various cakes and puddings, pretty much all of it awesome. Though I guess it'd mainly be down to taste...

Take a selection of western desserts and put them up against eastern desserts. Idk what it is that makes eastern desserts not as nice but most of them have no idea how to make something taste nice. There are exceptions but in general, if a dessert comes from asia, I steer clear unless ive got some good intel on it.
