Missed opportunity for them not to allow characters to be cross-platform, I'd more than likely buy both PC and Xbox versions to play with mates if that was a possiblity.
Failing that, I am also hoping that a profile transfer from console to PC will at least be a thing.

Exact! By allowing people to swap back and forth between consoles and pc that just means that they had to buy multiple copies of the game! And then down the road DLC. It really is a missed opportunity on there part. But with PlayStation having exclusives, that all goes out the window.
